The owner of this business is absolutely passionate about what she does. She is careful, considerate, and tunes into every detail your heart desires! She handcrafted the ‘grooms cake’ to depict DNA 🧬 strands and designed a microscope in the middle for my food scientist husband. Our wedding guests are STILL talking about how delicious and perfect the cake was. Our guests loved the white chocolate and pistachio (my custom cake order) as well as the raspberry and champagne! the owner provided me with the best experience when my fiancé and I went in to sample her many scrumptious cakes. We can tell that she is passionate about her business and provided us with awesome advice. Needless to say my guests and I loved her cake and would definitely recommend this business to all my friends n family.
Amazing tasting cakes!!!!!! We had the poppyseed for 2 of our tiers and the lavender and honey cake for 1 of our tiers. Both were so delicious!!! I will say the lavender and honey is a strong flavor so either our guests loved that one or they didnt but everyone LOVED the poppyseed! (and we knew that was going to happen which is why we ordered more of the poppyseed cake) Cindy was very professional and helpful and made sure our cake was all set up for us at our wedding reception venue! I would highly recommend her for your special cake!
Had to pick up wedding cakes for our son and daughter-in-law's wedding this past weekend. Staff was Fantastic and opened the store just for our pickup! Gave great instructions and packed the cakes perfectly. The Champagne Raspberry and Chocolate Truffle Cakes are AMAZING!! Some of the best wedding cake we've ever eaten and the decorating was superb! Would refer everyone to Love Bird Cakes! She did a phenomenal job!! Thank you!! 🥰
I had lovebird cakes for my wedding and have had it a few times more at other weddings and has always been delicious. I had the champagne cake and red velvet. I told her in general what I wanted and she showed up with a gorgeous cake that was beyond I could have asked for. I totally recommend if you want delicious, gorgeous cakes with someone who is very experienced.
Cindy was amazing to work with! She was so helpful and nice. When we did our wedding cake tasting my husband had said that chocolate cake is his favorite and she threw in a chocolate cake in our box in addition to the tasting flavors. Our wedding cake turned out to be the best cake I ever tasted. So good! We got so many compliments on it as well. Everyone loved it. It was so beautiful and more than what I envisioned it to look like. If you’re in the Victoria area looking for a baker, please seek her out! I will definitely be getting cakes with her in the future!
